01/1969 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: this factory fresh Cessna was on July 20 1966 registered to the Vlaamse Luchtvaartbond based at Antwerp airport. This club was established on March 3 1966 as flying school, for air baptisements, bannertowing and aerial photography. On September 24 1966 their operations did start when this airframe was unveiled to the public (together with two other Cessna's OO-JVO & OO-VTB and a Mooney 20 "OO-VLB") in a ceremony held at Antwerp airport. Here seen a couple of years later carrying a tiny tail logo and on the fuselage small "Vlaamse Luchtvaartbond" titles (brightened up in the upper left inset), baptised "Leeuwerik". |

06/1981 Location: QNM/EBNM Photo: collection Skystef Description: from 1970 onwards it was temporary leased to Publi-Sky, established on January 1 1968 which was also an Antwerp based company for bannertowing. By 1974 it went to a private user (E. Schraverus) basing it also at Antwerp airport, later Namur airport and here depicted such in an updated livery without titles. Late 1981 it moved on to another private user (S. Helard) basing the airframe at Charleroi airport. On June 9 1987 it migrated to Vliegclub Grimbergen, establised on June 15 1978 and based at Grimbergen airfield. On November 19 1991 it moved on to a private user (A. Lefevre) basing it initially also at Grimbergen airfield, later in 1995 at Charleroi airport. After a period of storage, it was on October 28 1999 cancelled from the register moving afterwards to Hungary as "HA-VEN" for Multifly KFT. |
