History: Société d'Etudes et de Transports Aériens (SETA) was formed on July 30 1946 to investigate the possibility of providing pax and cargo charter flights from Brussels-Haren. First revenue with a DC3 under name "SOBELAIR" went on October 15 1946 from Brussels-Haren to Nice via Paris . The name Société Belge de Transport Aériens or "SOBELAIR" was officially adopted on November 12 1946 ceasing its activities on January 19 2004.
