Description: the sixth and final Convair airframe of Delta Air Transport arrived at Antwerp on August 8 1974 in the basic colors of previous operator West German Air Force without titles and with ferry regi "D-AGWA".

Description: entering the Belgian register on August 28 with the first two letters of its regi referring to DAT's managing direction Freddy Van Gaever, the purchase of this airframe was intented for being a spare source only. Here seen parked without propellers after having been towed to the tarmac, it remained idle for the remaining period of 1974.

Description: closer inspection revealed that this airframe was in pristine condition, thus it was decided to use it in their network. Here seen with propellers added again.

Description: during January 1975 it entered the hanger to be resprayed in the DAT livery, here seen at the begin of this process.

Description: seen at the end of this process in the full livery (and airframes only color scheme), it was such operational for 16 months from March 28 1975 onwards.

Description: here seen with black registration, after its duties for DAT it left Antwerp for Basle on July 26 1976, still in full DAT markings. It was cancelled on August 2 1976 as "HB-IMU" to its new operator Air-Sea Service and rolled out in their full marking at Basle on September 8 1976.
