17/07/1987 Location: BRU/EBBR Photo: Tony De Bruyn Description: the first European Air Transport Convair was in pax configuration and was not converted for parcel duties. It was via Frevag nv delivered on July 16 1987 in the basic colors of previous operator Air Ontario of Canada and without titles. Officially it went to EAT a few weeks later, namely on July 28. |

25/07/1987 Location: BRU/EBBR Photo: Skystef Description: after it arrival at Brussels, it was within a week resprayed in EAT's color scheme and baptized "Hotel" (being the last letter of its regi). It was in fact the only Convair wearing this outfit as all other Convairs carried DHL markings. It became operational on July 24 1987 and was besides a few pax charters and sight seeing tours only used for crew training, here seen such lining up for departure on rwy 01. |

In January 1992 it was placed to the northern side of the airport and used by the fire service. Here seen such carrying also additional "DHL" titles on its tail and below the cockpit windows which was a remnant when it was operational for DHL at Bahrain during the summer of 1991. |
