19/06/1993 Location: BRU/EBBR Photo: Skystef Description: on December 26 1989, Frevag Airlines was merged with Servisair creating Flanders Airlines on January 1 1990. The airframe is depicted in the beige colors of Frevag with Flanders logo and titles which were adopted during late summer 1990. It was operational till September 1991 when laid up at Brussels and the airline itself closed its doors on February 10 1992. The airframe remained stored at Brussels until cancelled from the register on June 2 1993. It was ferried to Roskilde (Denmark) on June 19 1993 in the beige Frevag outfit with "Flanders Airlines" titles, still wearing the Belgian registration. But the proposed deal to a Danish operator seems not have materialized and it came afterwards in the American register as "N5455N" for Business Aviation Austria. |
