Description: the third Convair for Delta Air Transport was on July 21 1972 delivered at Antwerp in the basic livery of previous operator Iberia as "OO-NVG" but this regi was not taken up. Here seen adorned with a logo on the nose of Dutch soccer team "AJAX - Amsterdam". The last two letters of the regi were referring to DAT's managing director Freddy Van Gaever. As also other aircraft of the company had a regi ending with "VG" it lead to confusion with ATC conversations and was re-registered on August 29 1973 to OO-VGU and remained such operational till April 1977.
