Reims/Cessna FA.152 Aerobat (FA152-0382)

Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) was on March 24 1982 registered to Transmarcom-air, an Antwerp airport based flying unit affiliated with transport company "Transmarcom" which was formed on January 17 1979. It arrived at Antwerp airport one day later (March 25 1982) as "OO-XRF", a registration which was ultimate not taken up. It made its first flight with this registration on April 9 1982, here seen such in a livery without titles.

Description: shortly afterwards it was seen with a tail logo of Transmarcom-air, here depicted such. On April 2 1986 it went to a private user (M. Smets) basing the airframe at Kiewit airfield. On March 5 1987 it went to the Limburgse Vleugels, established on July 5 1957 and based at Zwartberg airfield. There on September 18 1991 it was damaged beyond repair when it flipped upside down during landing, but luckely without harm of the pilot on board. On November 21 1991 it was cancelled from the register.
