Description: this factory fresh Partenavia was on November 5 1979 registered to Travair and arrived a few weeks later on November 22 at Antwerp airport, here seen without titles and with a modified nose for a weather radar. As Travair, established on February 20 1967 as taxi operator, became from January 1 1981 onwards the official dealer for Africa of this Italian aircraft type, this particular airframe passed only via Antwerp airport for the paperwork and was resold quite rapidly, being cancelled on April 3 1980 going to Zaïre as "9Q-CEZ" for Mission Catholique du Zaïre where a few years later it had a fatal crash.
