Description: AVIEN Charter based at Brussels Airport who unfolded on June 20 1969 its plans to conduct airtaxi operations received its first airplane two months later when this Dove airframe was registered on August 8. It was technical supported by Sotramat (based at Brussels-Melsbroek) from October 1 1970 onwards. Here seen when in short term storage at Brussels Airport in a livery with tiny "avien Charter Brussels Department" titles in the white cheatline (see also upper left inset). It went after a reorganization in 1972 to Société Aviens based at Ostend airport but it remains unclear if much activity was deployed. In August 1972 it was sold to Moormanair (of the Netherlands) arriving at Amsterdam Schiphol around the 16th of that month, but ultimate it never took the sky again and instead it was dismantled in December 1974. Its nose section was however preserved at the Aviodome museum near Schiphol moving in 2003 to a new location at the Aviodrome museum in Lelystad (the Netherlands). The airframe itself was officially cancelled from the Belgian register on October 27 1976.
