25/05/1988 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: this second hand Cessna was on April 27 1988 registered to the Royal Antwerp Aviation Club (R.A.A.C.) established on November 3 1927, here seen such at its home base in a livery without titles. It arrived in a crate at Grimbergen airfield, was assembled there and flew to its home base on May 5 1988. It's regi refers to former vice chairman Roger Melis. |

22/09/1994 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: it received an updated livery in July 1993, here seen such with a tail logo added as well (see also upper left inset). On August 3 2001 It was damaged beyond repair at Antwerp airport after a mechanician hand started the propellor on which the airframe ran off over the apron hitting a glazed visitor terras and two parked cars, luckely without casualties. A year later on November 11 it was cancelled from the register. In spring 2004 it was seen as attraction at the Plankendael zoo Muizen (Belgium) with fake regi "OO-COV" and in November 2004 noted laid up inside a hangar at Antwerp airport. |
