11/1972 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: the fourth Convair of Delta Air Transport came in the Belgian register on July 20 1972 and arrived at Antwerp a day later in the basic livery of previous operator Iberia as "OO-UVG" but this regi was not taken up. Here captured with erased "U" which became "N" of "NVG". |

1972 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: seen being painted in the full colors, this airframe was in fact never operational as after a close examination maintenance costs for operational status was estimated a bit too high. Thus no CofA was issued and it remained stored for a while, but as vandals damaged the plane on November 4 1973, DAT decided to use it for spares only. |
