Description: this factory fresh Piper was on May 14 1949 registered to a private user (M. de Fierlant-Dormer) basing its airframe at St-Hubert airfield. On August 18 1954 it went to a new private user (M. De Coster) basing it at Keerbergen airfield, on February 21 1955 moving to another one (M. Mutsaarts) basing it at Namur airport and on March 17 1959 moving further to its final private user (P. Ruscart) basing it at Antwerp airport. It went on March 2 1962 to the Royal Antwerp Aviation Club (R.A.A.C.), established on November 3 1927, here seen such with tiny 40th anniversary logo in the tail. It was from January 28 1969 onwards also occasionally leased to Antwerp airport based Publi-Sky for bannertowing. On March 6 1971 at Oud-Turnhout airfield it was damaged beyond repair on touch & go's exercises when on a third run it veered off the runway and came to hold in a ditch. None of the two occupants on board (pilot & pupil) were harmed and airframe was later that year on December 21 cancelled from the register.
