Description: ancient Sabena Convair 440 OO-SCN, the eleventh European Air Transport Convair freighter in full DHL colors was written in the Belgian register on December 12 1988 but was not delivered yet as it underwent during eight months noice reduction tests at Mohave. It was even reregistered "N73162" between May 26 1989 and February 19 1990 and is here depicted such. Afterwards, with the aid of this new developed hush-kit, it was in regulation with the so-called chapter III noice regulations and shortly later all Convairs of EAT were accordingly adapted.

Description: the airframe was finally delivered at Brussels on March 2 1990 with the Belgian registration, here captured with a white nose as well adopted in 1990 to avoid bird strikes.

Description: five years later this airframe was transferred to Saudi operator SNAS which has also a close relationship with DHL, hence the same color scheme. Captured shortly before being accepted by the Saudi's, it still wore the Belgian regi but was a bit later cancelled as "HZ-SN14" on January 12 1996.
