late 60's Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) was on December 14 1966 registered to Golden River Aviation Club, established on June 16 1938 and based at Wevelgem airport. Here seen such when visiting Antwerp airport in a blue livery and carrying their titles on the fuselage (see also upper left inset). Later in 1968 it was sold to Western Aviation Company based at Amougies airfield. Then in 1972 it went to Didac Flying School, established on June 1 1971 and based at Grimbergen airfield, later in 1974 moving further to Diest Aero-Club (DAC), established on November 8 1958 and based at Schaffen airfield. With this club it crashed on May 26 1974 at Herenthout (Belgium) without further details and was cancelled from the register on January 10 1977. |
