Reims/Cessna FRA.150M Aerobat (FRA150-0274)

Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) was on June 27 1975 registered to Western Aviation Club based at Amougies airfield.  In 1978 it moved on to Western Air Trading also based at Amougies airfield, here seen such in a livery without titles. On October 7 1983 it went to a private user (A. Coesens), basing it at Overboelare airfield, followed on July 22 1985 by another one (H. Tavernier) basing it at Wevelgem airport, a few months later on September 23 moving to a next one (R. Deldaele), same airport. On June 5 1986 it went to Abatros Air Academy, a flight school established on July 24 1980 and based at Grimbergen airfield. On September 5 1991 it went to a trio private users (R.Gallopin, M.Costers & M.Tondeur) basing it at Grimbergen airfield, but temporary also at Antwerp airport. Its life came to an end on September 14 2002 when damaged beyond repair during an emergency landing at Lüneberg (Germany) but luckely both occupants survived. It was cancelled from the register much later, namely on September 8 2020.
