Description: this vintage 1960 build Piper was on May 5 1972 registered to a private user (V. Melotte) basing the airframe at Kiewit airfield. Here depicted in the livery of the previous operator, the Luftwaffe, and without titles.

Description: in August 1978 it was registered to Skyworks which was a company establised on January 1 1970 based at Antwerp airport for bannertowing, here seen such in the same livery without the orange stripes. On November 9 1983 it went to Begevel, also based at Antwerp airport. On December 11 1991 it went to a private user (K. Peeters) also based at Antwerp airport. After corrosion was found in the wing it was for several months stored at Antwerp airport from late 1993 onwards, by April 1994 it was replaced by a wing of another Dornier. Its fate was however sealed on May 12 1994 when on a bannertowing mission it was damaged beyond repair during a crashlanding in a meadow at Bonheiden (Belgium) after engine troubles did occur, luckely without harm of the pilot  (J. Van de Perre) on board. In 1997 it was sold to a private user (M. Rulffs) of Germany for spares and was cancelled from the register on August 11 2020.
