Description: this vintage 1951 build Piper (ex USAAF) came on September 12 1968 as "OO-HMW" in the register for a private user (F. Vanderstraeten) basing it at Moorsele airfield. Later that year on November 6 it was re-registered "OO-VIW" when going to Royal Verviers Aviation, established on February 16 1931 and based at Verviers airfield. After having a crash at Spa airfield on January 23 1981, it was a year later in August seen dismantled at Verviers airfield but was later repaired, here seen active in a livery without titles. On February 8 2001 it moved on to Antwerp Limousine & Coach (ALC) basing the Piper at Antwerp airport / Zoersel airfield and was painted in the livery of the Belgian Army with serial number "L-33". On October 21 2019 it changed hands to a private user (M. De Vestel) basing it also at Antwerp airport / Zoersel airfield and is still current.
