Piper PA.28-161 Warrior III (28-42333)

Description: this factory fresh Piper was on October 28 2011 registered to Ben-Air Flight Academy (BAFA), a flight school established on May 19 1980 as Ben-Air changing to its current name on October 5 1999 and based at Antwerp airport. The airframe itself arrived at its home base on July 25 2011 disassembled in a container as "N6091U" and was afterwards rebuild and repainted in their full colors but without titles, here seen such after been re-registered, the titles of the school were adopted after 2015. On August 28 2018 it was damaged on an emergency landing at Antwerp airport due to smoke smell in the cockpit (which came from a fire in a nearby field) but luckely without harm of the pilot on board. It was not repaired and left later that year on November 7 on a trailer for scrap being cancelled from the register on January 3 2019.
