05/1978 Location: CAI/HECA Photo: collection Skystef Description: on April 10 1977 it was leased to Egyptair with during the first couple of years wearing an hybrid livery (first noted such at Cairo on April 6 1977). On July 2 1979 it was reregistered to "SU-BBS" and resprayed in their full livery by November of the same year. It would never return to TEA as while on lease to the Egyptian carrier it was sold to Hapag-Lloyd in the summer of 1980. Two years later, on February 25 1982, it was returned to the German carrier as "D-AHLC" where it would become operational on April 1 in their own livery. |
