Morane-Saulnier MS.893A Rallye Commodore 180 (10621)

Description: this factory fresh Morane-Saulnier was on November 23 1966 registered to Aero-Nord, established on January 1 1968 as importer of SOCATA airframes for the Benelux, furthermore it acted as a flying school and was based at Moorsele airfield. On January 17 1969 it migrated to the Vlaamse Luchtvaartbond which was based at Antwerp airport and established on March 3 1966 as flying school, or for air baptisements, bannertowing and aerial photography, here seen such in a livery without titles.

Description: seen in the same livery but with its registration placed to another position (in this view obstructed by the wing). On May 18 1972 it moved on to Antwerpse Luchtvaart Bedrijf (A.L.B.), also based at Antwerp airport which was established on February 17 1972. It migrated further to Pat-Aero on June 10 1977, established on March 4 1972 as Danair nv and based at Hoevenen airfield. On June 12 1980 its final owner became Antwerp airport based Dan-Aviation, established on month before on May 8 1980. It was damaged beyond repair during an emergency landing at Antwerp airport on November 15 1981 without casualties, afterwards used for spares and cancelled from the register on October 24 2003.
