06/08/2009 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: this second hand Cessna was on April 2 1997 registered to Royal Aéro Para Club de Spa, originally established in 1908 as Aéro-club Liège-Spa on the plateau of Malchamps, just south of Spa airfield. After WW II it was in October 1945 renamed to its current name but obtaining a Royal title in 1976. Here seen such when visiting Antwerp airport in a livery with small titles above the cheatline (see also upper left inset) and a tail logo. On October 6 2009 it went to Aviation Sans Frontières with its Belgian base at Grimbergen airfield. On October 20 2017 it was cancelled from the register as been exported to Madagascar where the trace of this airframe ends. |
