05/1983 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: this factory fresh helicopter was on October 24 1972 registered to Sotramat which stood for Société de Transports Aériens Maritimes et Terrestres being established on May 7 1958 and based at Brussels Airport / Antwerp airport. This heli was at first based at Beerse airfield, later Brussels Airport. On July 26 1978 it went to Van Biervliet Precast International NV based at Ostend airport. On January 13 1982 it went to VIP Heli Charter, established on December 17 1981 and based at Antwerp airport, here seen such at its home base in a livery inhereted from Sotramat but without titles. |

On December 1 1988 it went temporary to its new identity Sofinair, reverting back to Publi-Air on May 29 1992, but here seen earlier still with "Publi-Air" titles. |

05/05/2000 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: seen with "Donna" stickers (of Radio Donna which was a commercial radio station in Flanders, now called Joe FM). On April 2 2002 it went back to Publi-Air and on December 11 2003 its final owner became Heli Service Belgium based at St Pieters Leeuw. With this owner it had a fatal accident on June 25 2006 when during a takeoff from the d'Herbouvillekaai in Antwerp it collided with Eurocopter AS355 F1 Ecureuil 2 "OO-HSH" luckely with no casualties of the three people on board these two heli's. Later the wreckage was sold to Dodson International Aircarft Parts & seen laid up at Rantsoul (USA) on October 3 2007. Before that it was on November 16 2006 cancelled from the Belgian register. |
