1971 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: from late 1969 onwards this tail was repainted into a golden one but still with the same titles as the first picture above. On April 3 1979 it moved on to a couple private users (P. Duron & P. Goosens) based at Antwerp airport. On January 3 1982 it was damaged at Zoersel airfield when after landing hit a tree with its right wing, but luckely no casualties of the two on board. It was never repaired and on September 7 of the same year cancelled from the register. Instead it found new life when used as instructional airframe at the T.I.B. school of Borgerhout (Belgium) till at least 2003. In that year it was seen laid up at Cerfontaine airfield and since 2006 its fuselage is withdrawn from use at Sint-Truiden air base. |
