late 60's Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: this factory fresh Aero Commander was on November 16 1959 registered to Sotramat which stood for Société de Transports Aériens Maritimes et Terrestres being established on May 7 1958 and based at Brussels Airport & Antwerp airport. Here seen such at its home base with its first livery without titles. |

22/04/1978 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: seen in the seventies with an updated color scheme but still without titles. On December 18 1978 it merged with Hessenatie-Neptunus to form Hessenatie-Sotramat Aviation but the outfit remained as good as unchanged with only the thin light blue cheatline becoming green (see pic below). |

1985 Location: ANR/EBAW Photo: collection Skystef Description: since September 1983 it was withdrawn from use at Antwerp airport, here seen a few years later in a rather sad state. Between October 29 - November 1 1985 it was transported in sections by boat & trailer to the Aviodome near Lelystad airport (the Netherlands) for a proposed display but instead it's since March 25 1992 preserved at the Technical University of Delft (the Netherlands). |
