In the back construction of a new maintenance builing for Sabena "Hangar 40" which could service three B707's at the same moment and it came into being on December 10 1964. The particular Convair was cancelled on April 23 1968 to "N73165" for Frontier Airlines and left the same day for the States. |

06/1988 Location: BRU/EBBR Photo: collection Skystef Description: after a conversion to CV580 in 1968 and after several operators in the States, this frame came back to Brussels Airport being delivered on May 29 1988 and was only to be used as source parts for the operational fleet of CV580's of European Air Transport. Here depicted just after its arrival, with the American regi "N73165" already erased and carrying the basic markings of previous operator Metro Airlines (American Eagle). |
