- Location: - Photo: collection Skystef Description: the first (but a second hand) C-54 airframe of Sobelair, baptized "Lualaba" came in the register on October 20 1954 and was delivered a day earlier at Brussels (Melsbroek) as "PH-DBK" of previous operator KLM. It carried only the depicted color scheme during its six year stay with the Belgian carrier. Sadly it crashed into a mountain top near Bunia (Belgian Congo) on April 22 1960 killing all 35 occupants. |
