12/05/1988 Location: -/EBGB Photo: collection Skystef Description: this second hand Cessna was on April 22 1988 registered to Publi-Air initially based at Grimbergen airfield but from January 1992 onwards Namur airport. Here it's seen shortly after delivery at its first home base in a livery inhereted of a previous American operator and without titles. However little joy as from 1989 onwards it was seen laid up & dismantled at its second home base, Namur airport. In 1995 it migrated via P. Winters to his Aviation Service Center based at Hoevenen airfield for potential restoration and the fuselage was noted for the first time in January 1996 inside a hangar at Hoevenen airfield. In 2000 it moved unofficially to Winters Aviation (again of P. Winters), but ultimate it never took the skies again and was instead sold for spares to Hungary being cancelled decades later from the Belgian register, namely on May 12 2020. |
