Here it's seen in its first livery without titles on a visit to Antwerp airport. |

11/09/1993 Location: BRU/EBBR Photo: collection Skystef Description: by 1983 it received an updated livery, still without titles. On September 12 1993 it left for Zaire being cancelled to Scibe-Airlift Zaïre as "9Q-CBC" two days later, here seen in the second color scheme of Abelag one day before its handover with the Zairean registration crossed by a tape. With this carrier it had a fatal accident on January 18 1994 when it impacted the ground while on a visual approach in darkness to runway 24 of Kinshasa-N'Djili airport, killing the two strong crew. |
