Fairchild-Swearingen SA.226 TC Metro II (TC-247)

Description: the third airframe for EAT (called "Metro") came in the register on January 30 1978 and was a month later delivered at Brussels on February 14. It was also ordered to serve on the Sabena's "common market commuter" routes, and subsequently delivered in the markings of the Belgian flag carrier. Below the cockpit cheatline additional tiny "operated by European Air Transport" titles were added.

Description: from March 1987 onwards leased for 18 months to DAT when used by Sabena on the run between Brussels and Luxembourg, here seen in a unique livery of DAT with additional "Belgiums Regional Airline" titles.

Description: between December 15 - 27 1989 it was at the paintshop at Southend to adopt the DHL livery with "SNAS" titles for an upcoming sale to this Saudi Arabian company. Afterwards it returned to Brussels and is here captured shortly before being accepted by the Saudi's, still with the Belgian regi. On December 28 1989 it was cancelled from the register migrating the next month on January 24 to the Saudi one as to "HZ-SN9" being ferried to Saudi Arabia on February 17 1990.
