25/06/1978 Location: CRL/EBCI Photo: collection Skystef Description: the success of the early flight school years (with Pipers) encouraged European Air Transport to enter the sale of aircraft. With a potential clientele of future pilots trained in its school, the company became in 1978 the representative of the American manufacturer Mooney M.20J or model 201. Thus on June 2 1978 a factory fresh Mooney was registered to them, here seen as demonstrator on a meeting at Charleroi airport in its only livery without titles when with E.A.T. with in front a plate of the aircraft performances. On April 18 1983 it went to Vanmey pvba (Wevelgem airport), on November 17 1987 going to a private user (L. Casteleyn) basing it at Zwartberg airfield and a month later on December 4 to Locabel Finivest. |
