08/2021 Location: -/EBGB Photo: collection Skystef Description: after been since August 27 1985 with a private user (J. Marquet) basing its aircraft at Liège airport, it went on July 13 1992 to the Sabena Aéro Club, originally established on September 11 1946 as Section Sportive et de Tourisme Aérien (SSTA), on April 17 1954 becoming a non profit association and changing to its present name in 1985. The first two years this airframe was based at Antwerp airport, but since 1994 at Grimbergen airfield. It's livery was updated in the summer of 1996, here seen such. Sometimes it was also leased to the Bluetail Flight School (Namur airport) but this company went out of business in 2023. It's still current. |
