Description: this second hand Harvard, build in 1942 was on September 17 1965 registered to Cogea Nouvelle, established on January 14 1946 as Compagnie Générale d'Exploitation Aéronautique (shortened to Cogea) based at Keerbergen airfield but after a reorganistation on November 30 1954 its name changed to Cogea Nouvelle whereby its base switched to Ostend airport. On February 15 1966 it moved on to a private owner (J. Thiel), initially basing the airframe at Wevelgem airport, later to Monchengladbach airport. Here depicted such in a sort of basic old livery of Air France inhereted from Cogea Nouvelle who adopted this scheme to match with the other AT-6 Texans in their fleet who all came from Air France. Below the first window "EST" titles can be recognized as well referring to its owners which were actually based in Liechtenstein. In July 1970 it was sold to a private user M. Honcoop of the Netherlands. It was trucked to Veen (the Netherlands) for a planned sale to USA after conversion for the American market. However its engine was destroyed by fire on December 20 1970 and the plan for conversion was abandoned. Before that it was cancelled from the register on September 15 1970. Between 1971 and 1980 it was on display at a bicycle shop Boxmeer (the Netherlands). Later it came back to Belgium and was in 1983 seen at Zoersel and in 1987 at Wilrijk. After its wings were in July 1992 sold to a private user (D. Hindryckx) for display at its Wings of War museum at Meerhout, the hulk was in 2001 for the last time noted at Haacht.
