On February 15 1966 it moved on to a private owner (J. Thiel), initially basing the airframe at Wevelgem airport, later to Monchengladbach airport, here depicted such in a livery with "EST" titles in a shield named Vaduz referring to its owners which were actually based in Liechtenstein. In July 1970 it was sold to a private user M. Honcoop of the Netherlands. It was trucked to Veen (the Netherlands) for a planned sale to USA after conversion for the American market. However its engine and wings were destroyed by fire on December 20 1970 and the plan for conversion was abandoned and later the remains were broken up for scrap. Before that it was cancelled from the register on September 15 1970. |
