Description: this factory fresh Socata was registered on August 11 1978 to Locatrans based at Ghent airfield being used by Omni-Flight for their flight school established on October 1 1976, here seen such at its home base.

Description: after been with the Gentse Zweefclub since January 1981, it migrated to Sky-Service on March 21 1986 based at Wevelgem airport and was used for bannertowing. Initially it was in 1986 seen without titles in the depicted livery (of the previous operator), but later "Sky Service" titles were added and since March 23 1995 it was operational in the full livery. In 1987 it was also temporary used by Styl Aviation based at Antwerp airport for towing banners or gliders of the Vlaamse Zweef Akademie. After Sky-Service decided to drop the bannertowing activities in 2001, it migrated on April 21 2001 to Propeller bvba continuing these activities from Wevelgem airport. However they had little joy as it was damaged beyond repair after an engine failure at low altitude over Kortrijk on July 15 2001, luckely without injury of the pilot during the crash. Much later, on February 8 2016, it was cancelled from the register.
