Description: this factory fresh Marchetti S.205 was on March 29 1968 registered to 'Marchetti dealer' A. Delhamende (of A.S.P.E) and went a month later on May 1 to a private user (F.H. Delforge) basing its aircraft at Antwerp airport, here seen such in the typical Marchetti livery without titles and with an appropriate registration. In 1971 it returned to A. Delhamende for a resale in 1972 to another private user (H. Claes) basing it at Zwartberg airfield. In 1975 it moved on to a private user based at Ostend airport (A. Verhelst) and in 1976 it ended up with Merlin Air Trade, an air taxi operator which was established on November 23 1972 and also based at Ostend airport. After been withdrawn from use it was on September 16 1980 cancelled from the register and thirty years later, on September 19 2010, it was seen as eyecatcher on a roof at Cuneo (Italy).
