Description: this factory fresh Socata Tampico was registered on July 31 1980 to Gabco, a company formed on August 31 1971 as dealer for Socata airframes in Belgium and based at Ghent airfield. Here seen at its home base in front of their hangar in a livery without titles. On December 12 1980 it migrated to Vliegclub Ursel (established on October 27 1978) but two years later, on July 12 1982, it crashed at Bosquet Haute Escalles (France) while enroute to Calais–Dunkerque airport but luckely without casualty of the sole occupant on board and was subsequently cancelled from the register on December 15 of the same year.
