Reims/Cessna F.150M (F150-0292)

Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) was on September 22 1976 registered to Abelag Aviation, established in 1964 and basing this airframe at Grimbergen airfield, here seen in the first livery (of two) with small titles on the entrance door (see also inset) and in the tail a Cessna Pilot Center logo.

Description: on April 18 1983 it migrated to Europaviation (trading mark of Abelag's small sized aircraft fleet). In June 1986 it was leased to Royal Motor Union Aviation, a flight school based at Liège airport, and resprayed in blue markings of a civil aviation team called "Arc-en-Ciel" and was such displayed at the Warbird meeting held at Liège airport in June 1986 (and seen together with two other Cessna's "OO-FSI" and "OO-RMU"). Here depicted in these colors with "Abelag" sticker in the tail and on the wing tips. On May 7 1993 Royal Motor Union Aviation became the official owner. It was withdrawn from use at Charleroi airport when its CofA expired on June 8 1995. Afterwards it was used as eyecatcher near a fast food restaurant at Lasne (Belgium), it's since 2012 used as an attraction in discotheque "Le Retro" also at Lasne. It was officially cancelled from the register on March 6 2020.
