Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) was on March 30 1978 registered to Abelag Aviation, established in 1964 and basing this airframe at Grimbergen airfield, It arrived at Brussels Airport the following day on May 31 1978. On April 24 1978 it went to a private user (M. Dumitresco), Grimbergen airfield here seen in a light brown livery without titles. Two years later, on April 2 1981, it migrated to Abatros Air Academy, a flight school established on July 24 1980 and also based at Grimbergen airfield. At its home base it had four years later, namely on March 21 1985, a fatal accident when on a local training flight towing banners it flipped over during landing. Afterwards its 'remains' were stored for a few decades inside a hangar at Grimbergen airfield. After been for sale since 2010, it was in June 2018 seen stored at Veerle (Belgium) being cancelled from the register on April 29 2019. Later in 2022 it was seen stored at Brustem Air Base.
