Morane-Saulnier MS.880B Rallye Club (1194)

Description: this factory fresh Morane-Saulnier was registered on February 14 1968 to a private user (M. Claes) and Aero-Nord. This company was officially established on January 1 1968 as importer of SOCATA airframes for the Benelux, furthermore it acted as a flying school based at Moorsele airfield. Here it's seen on a visit to Antwerp airport in a livery without titles.

Description: in 1969 it migrated to Limburgse Vleugels, established on July 5 1957 and based at Zwartberg airfield, here seen in updated colors but still without titles.

Description: parts of its original fuselage were seen stored inside a hangar for years at Zwartberg airfield, here depicted such whereby the registration was in black lettering, in 1986 these parts were moved to Kiewit airfield.

Description: on March 14 1986 it was sold to Aero Club Bütgenbach, established on December 11 1985 and based at Elsenborn airfield, here seen with a sticker in the tail of Krediet Bank. On October 17 1991 it went further to a couple private users (A. Bruggeman & R. Vandermeersch), basing their aircraft at Ursel Air Base, from December 13 1991 onwards only with A. Bruggeman. Later on June 24 1993 it moved on to another private user (J. Semey), updating its livery in 1998, switching on January 31 2006 to a new private user (R. Verschaeve), both also based at Ursel Air Base. It was cancelled from the register on September 10 2010 being sold to Germany, most probable as spare source.
