early 50's Location: BRU/EBBR (Melsbroek) Photo: Sabena via collection Skystef Description: after COBETA, this airframe found life with a second Belgian operator Sabena. Here it's seen in its first livery (of two) as the airframe at the bottom in this beautiful aerial view of the old terminal and its tarmac at Melsbroek. A small critism of this furthermore nice postcolored postcard is that the supposed green grass strip where the nosewheels of all different aircraft are parked is in fact a darker concrete, so no grass (see below). |
