The miscellaneous phenomena
are meteors other than clouds and include two major groups: hydrometeors
other than clouds like a fall of an ensemble of particles
(precipitation), suspensions of particles in the air (fog, ice fog), an
ensemble of particles raised by wind (drifting snow, spray) + deposits of
particles (dew, hoar frost, rime, glaze), and lithometeors
like suspensions of particles in the air (haze, dust haze, smoke) +
an ensemble of particles raised by wind (drifting and blowing dust or
sand, dust or sandstorm, dust or sand whirl).
