Overhead Belgium there are quite some busy air
corridors
and once in a while the Moon is in the right position to capture a cruising aircraft in
front of it. This Boeing 737-800 of Austrian departed in the evening of May
22 2010 from Heathrow and was around 2125 local time almost overhead at
37000 ft, a bit south of my position, on its daily leg to Vienna when
passing the waxing gibbous Moon which was for about 70% visible.
