History: Air Transport Company was formed on September 27 1946 to provide air-taxi and cargo charters to points in Europe from its base at Brussels Melsbroek. On October 27 1947 it took over Trans-Air adding their three pax Short Stirlings to its fleet. During 1950 the airframes were disposed off and the company was declared bankrupt on March 25 1950.
